TheWaterChannel
TheWaterChannel was launched in 2009, with a rather simple objective: build an open resource with video-based material on water management – available online and as long as the digital divide persists offline. Our main motivations are: (a) rich video material on water is produced all over the world – but never widely circulated (b) we could see an increasing need for visuals in education, self-learning, policy and local water initiatives.
As TheWaterChannel interacted with its user-community, it evolved. We undertook a broader set of activities resulting in webinars, thematic pages, triggering discussions and debate through policy documentation as well as documenting forgotten good practices.
