African farmers off the electrical grid are now watching movies on their cell phones. Some are also starting to watch farmer learning videos. In the “Rice Advice” videos, farmers from Bangladesh and West Africa describe simple innovations to boost production. In Malawi, Fadwick Matola tells us how he watched the Rice Advice videos at home, on his phone, and then used the practical ideas to harvest more rice to feed his family.
