In this video, the rwandan organic coffee farmer Josiah Rutambuka is demonstrating how to prune coffee and shade trees in a coffee plantation, and using the pruned branches as mulch in his own farm.
The video is in Kinyarwanda, subtitled in english.
The video has been developed in the framework the “Partner Afrika” Project implemented by Naturland in partnership with ROAM (Rwanda Organic Agriculture Movement), with a particular focus on the women’s group Ejo Heza in the KOPAKAMA cooperative (Karongi district, Rwanda). It is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development via sequa.
